Role Description The Director, Inventory Planning and FG Deployment leads a supply and inventory planning team which generates and manages purchased finished goods planning and forward deployment of finished goods across the enterprise, to support multiple business units and their objectives. Key Responsibilities - Leadership - Lead a multi-level team with supply and inventory planning responsibilities across multiple business units - Represent the Supply Chain to support the company’s strategic initiatives while successfully managing their normal responsibilities - Driving the organization towards KPI targets in Delivery, Inventory and Cost - Supporting SIOP process by escalating decision making up the organization to resolve cross-business conflicts and drive resolution of issues preventing the attainment of production plans - Manage and develop direct reports - Lead others and extend influence beyond the Supply Chain Planning team - Communication - Communicate with multiple levels of the business, including the executive level - Present polished and concise data and recommendations with good decision quality - Facilitate cross-functional alignment on key trade-offs, risks, and scenarios - Prepare executives with structured insights, recommendations, and decision options - Analytics/Decision Making - Analyzing capacity constraints and ensuring alignment of service, inventory and cost targets - Drive fact-based decision-making using standardized planning data and scenarios - Ensure decisions balance service, cost, inventory, and revenue objectives - Translate business strategy into planning priorities and decision criteria - Enable alignment between strategic plans, financial plans, and operational plans - Assist in the continuous improvement of Supply Chain processes and systems Qualifications - BA/BS required with emphasis in supply chain, business or operations management preferred - 7+ years business or supply chain experience in a multi-facility environment - Ability to lead direct reports - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong computer literacy – Microsoft Excel proficiency and experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system required; SAP, JDA/Blue Yonder a plus - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills - Ability to think strategically and manage long range planning - Self-Directed & demonstrates the ability to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies or potential issues - Must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work responsibilities with sense of urgency to meet deadlines - Excellent problem identification & follow through to issue resolution - Willing to travel moderately Leadership Competencies - Executive facilitation and influence - Strategic and financial alignment - Decision framework development - Enterprise change leadership - Systems thinking and trade-off analysis Requirements A reasonable estimate of the current range is $180,000-$200,000 + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
