Software Engineer, Growth

Fleetio

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Data Operations, and other Engineers to deliver high-quality product experiences. • Design and implement features that improve user onboarding, product adoption, and long-term engagement. • Help build experiments that validate product ideas and measure customer impact. • Contribute to technical discussions and collaborate on solutions that balance customer value with technical excellence. • Deliver well-tested, maintainable, and performant code. • Prototype solutions and iterate quickly based on customer feedback and product insights. • Participate in code reviews, share knowledge with teammates, and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
  • Experience building modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Experience building full-stack web applications and customer-facing features.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with writing efficient database queries and working with application data.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
