Director of Product Marketing

Vumedi

• Take full ownership of product marketing strategies for our range of commercial products and solutions aimed at pharmaceutical and medical device companies. • Lead the development and packaging of advertising and sponsorship products, ensuring they meet market needs and are positioned for success. • Codify and simplify packaging to set up Vumedi for scale as the company grows sales team and customer success professionals. • Lead, manage and develop the product marketing team, setting clear priorities and holding the team accountable to outcomes. • Strategically position our products in the market and develop competitive pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market share. • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market needs, using insights to inform product marketing strategies. • Define tailored strategies for different customer segments as Vumedi expands to all of medicine. • Work closely with product management, sales, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on product marketing initiatives and goals. • Work closely with sales on complex opportunities and account strategies. • Engage with customers and leverage feedback to refine product offerings and marketing approaches. • Own and update Vumedi’s customer journey from new prospects to multi-year repeat customers. • Ensure that all product marketing efforts align with the company's brand and messaging guidelines. • Act as the internal expert of customer personas, becoming the ‘voice of the customer’ within Vumedi. • Define and track key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of product marketing strategies. • Build out and maintain the internal and externals materials and process documents related to the products that you oversee.

Job Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in product marketing or equivalent, preferably within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing, launching, and managing successful digital marketing solutions targeting pharmaceutical companies and/or their media-buying agencies.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial product landscape in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.
  • Have an understanding of the pharma brand lifecycle from pre-launch to post-LOE.
  • Experience with products that must go through pharma client medical legal review approval cycles
  • Ability to manage various deliverables among many stakeholder groups in different time zones
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Display proficiency and confidence in managing relationships to drive collaboration
  • Excellent teamwork skills and ability to influence others and quickly establish trust, credibility and rapport
  • Able to demonstrate innovation, successfully tackling challenges in new and creative ways in often-stressful, deadline-intensive environments
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office or Google Suite products, familiarity with program management tools, such as Smartsheet, Project, and Jira
  • Experience working within a Marketing team
  • BA or BS in marketing, business management, operations management or related field
