Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Payroll Processor to join our team. This fully remote position is ideal for an experienced payroll professional who is comfortable managing payroll processes in a multi-state environment and has hands-on experience with ADP RUN. The Payroll Processor will be responsible for: - Accurately processing payroll, maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing exceptional support to employees and management regarding payroll-related matters. Key Responsibilities - Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule using ADP RUN. - Review and validate payroll data, including hours worked, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and garnishments. - Make corrections and updates to payroll data via ADP Time & Attendance prior to payroll run. - Maintain payroll records and employee information within ADP RUN. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulations. - Process new hire, termination, and employee change information. - Review payroll reports and reconcile discrepancies. - Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner. - Coordinate with Human Resources and management regarding payroll-related matters. - Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and reporting. - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information. - Perform various HR administrative duties as assigned by Executive Committee. Qualifications - Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience. - Experience with ADP RUN a plus. - Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax withholdings, and wage and hour compliance. - Experience processing multi-state payroll preferred. - Familiarity with garnishments, deductions, and benefit-related payroll transactions. - High level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Requirements - Experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses preferred. - Knowledge of HR-related processes and employee record management preferred.
