Job Description

Part-Time Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner

TimelyCare

• Conduct remote Telepsychiatry outpatient visits (initial evaluation and follow ups) • Conduct therapy, medication assessments, and intake evaluations for new and existing patients (students) • Develop individual care plans and provide therapeutic interventions as necessary including the provision of ongoing medication management services • Provide consultation and health education support to patients and families • Collaborate with students to develop care plans and safety planning if needed • Appropriately document sessions, assessments, and care plans in our EHR • Adhere to established standards for clinical documentation quality, HIPAA/PHI and telehealth regulations

Job Requirements

  • Masters degree in nursing and an advanced degree from an Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nursing (APPN) graduate nursing program required.
  • APPN graduate education must include the study of basic science, (i.e., pathophysiology, advanced health assessment, brain and behavioral correlates), advanced psychopharmacology and psychotherapeutic techniques; followed by clinical rotations in outpatient mental health settings, hospitals, or residential care settings.
  • Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and/or American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in psychiatric mental health advanced practice nursing as the area of specialization.
  • Documented compliance with any state statutes and regulations governing advanced practice psychiatric mental health nursing.
  • 5+ licenses in the following states: CA, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, MA, MD, MO, NC, NM, NY, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA, required.
  • Doctorate Degree preferred but not required.
  • 2+ years experience working with persons who have various behavioral substance misuse, or other psychiatric impairments.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
  • Strong and effective clinical writing, assessment, and active listening skills.

Role Description We are looking for a remote Triage Nurse to join our Endoscopy team on a full time basis (37.5 hour contract, no weekends, shift pattern open for negotiation, very flexible). As a Triage Nurse with InHealth, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all patients treated in InHealth Endoscopy undergo the most appropriate procedure based on their symptoms and are clinically suitable to be treated in a community endoscopy service. What you will do: - Providing a holistic review of the gastroenterology/endoscopy referrals received by InHealth ensuring referrals are appropriate and clinically complete. - Ensuring that patients are listed for the most appropriate investigation depending on the reason for referral and presenting symptoms and in line with agreed protocols and National Guidance. - Carry out telephone assessments using advanced communications skills, if required, where there is uncertainty over patient’s suitability to be treated in the service, ensuring accurate records are kept. - Refer to or seek advice from medical or nursing colleagues as and when necessary. - Rejecting inappropriate referrals back to the referrer with concise information including reasons for rejection and alternative, appropriate referral route where required (secondary care, 2WW/HSC pathway etc).
