Master Technician – Commercial Kitchen Service
Smart Care
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial food service equipment including: Cooking equipment, Refrigeration systems, Ware-washing equipment, Specialty kitchen equipment • Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation • Communicate with manufacturers and technical support teams for troubleshooting assistance • Complete installations, repairs, service documentation, and inventory management • Provide excellent customer service while partnering with restaurant and hospitality managers
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Commercial refrigeration, Appliance repair, HVAC, Commercial kitchen equipment, Related mechanical/technical fields
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation (nights/weekends)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in various environments including heat, cold, and around electrical/mechanical equipment
- Preferred: EPA certification, CFESA certification, Technical training or military mechanical experience
