Role Description The Professional Services Manager plays a pivotal role in both pre-sale and post-sale activities, ensuring the seamless adoption and implementation of Axon Enterprise’s cutting-edge products and solutions. This role involves collaborating with technology decision-makers and program managers to enhance workflows, efficiencies, and training capabilities through Axon’s digital evidence management systems, body-worn cameras, Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, and Professional Services Packages. Acting as a Trusted Advisor, the Professional Services Manager supports customers in maximizing the potential of Axon’s technologies to transform their operations. What You’ll Do - Engage with technology decision-makers (e.g., Chiefs of Police, Command Staff, Sheriffs, Directors of IT) and program managers pre-sale and post-sale to support successful product implementation and adoption. - Participate in pre-sales activities, including: - Sales presentations and solution demonstrations. - Responding to RFPs and RFIs. - Assisting in the creation of deployment plans. - Supporting product Test and Evaluations. - Plan, coordinate, and execute post-sale program implementation for Axon’s Evidence.com, body-worn camera products, AI solutions, and associated services packages. - Conduct customer site assessments to evaluate requirements and implementation readiness. - Ensure proper setup and functionality of equipment, such as body-worn camera systems, to meet operational needs. - Provide tailored training to law enforcement and other customers, enhancing their operational capabilities and training curriculums. - Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Operations teams to: - Address and document customer feature requests and issues. - Offer valuable feedback to drive product improvements. - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and program success. - Assist customers in developing comprehensive agency-wide deployment plans. - Champion Axon’s mission to transform training and operational efficiency through innovative solutions like AI solutions and Evidence.com. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and experience. - Experience implementing and/or leading an Axon body-worn camera program. - Experience with training, project management, and resource tracking. - Experience with SAAS sales or support. - Knowledge and demonstrated operating experience in one or more of the following areas: Digital Video, Body-Worn Cameras, Conductive Energy Weapons, Virtual Reality, Mobile Communications, SAAS. - Knowledge of professional service provision with a technical or weapons-related customer base. - Understanding of software and/or hardware, testing, and implementation. - Understanding and conversant about company solutions and products’ strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. - Willingness to travel weekly throughout North America, with potential for international travel. - Experience working with law enforcement or military sales. - Ability to work effectively, add value as a team member, and assume leadership roles within a team. - Ability to work remotely effectively and add value as a team member, demonstrating technical knowledge and consultative skills. - Ability to teach and mentor team members as required. - Willingness to take ownership of accounts and account-related actions. - Proven ability to coordinate across various groups and functional teams. - Ability to perform tasks with little or no supervision. - Demonstrated ability to implement, drive, track, and report on projects. - Ability to apply solutions, technology, and products to business opportunities.
