• Develop and execute area business plans to consistently achieve revenue targets while managing expenses and maintaining budgeted sales‑to‑expense ratios. • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing sales team through regular communication, field engagement, performance reviews, and ongoing professional development. • Recruit, select, and build a dynamic sales organization, including distributor networks where applicable, partnering with external recruiting resources as needed. • Ensure full compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and local and federal laws governing interactions with healthcare professionals. • Provide senior leadership with timely insights on sales performance, market trends, competitive activity, and field‑driven opportunities for continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university and 5+ years of sales experience OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of 8+ years of experience in sales in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
- Previous experience with Value Analysis Committees and/or trial approvals in commercial (teaching institutions and community-based) and federal (Veterans Affairs and/or Department of Defense) facilities required.
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
- Previous surgical and biologics experience (Nice to Have)
- One (1) year of formal leadership experience (Nice to Have)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including effective people management, conflict resolution, and project coordination under pressure (Nice to Have)
- Proven analytical and organizational capabilities to assess information, identify priorities, and execute with accuracy (Nice to Have)
- Track record of building and maintaining productive relationships with physicians and surgical staff in a sales or clinical setting (Nice to Have)
