Role Description LightFeather is seeking a ServiceNow Developer with a strong focus on supporting federal clients with modern web technologies. This position offers the opportunity to build custom, high-code solutions that enhance user experiences and system integration across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate is passionate about ServiceNow, eager to grow their technical capabilities, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing setting. Major responsibilities include: - Helping design, configure, develop, and implement baseline and custom applications and enhancements in ServiceNow. - Providing architectural input and helping maintain stability of the overall platform by ensuring the appropriate design and development standards are always used. - Working independently and as a technical team member. - Working in multiple instances and domains, supporting internal and external customers. - Utilizing an Agile/Scrum methodology to manage development work. - Advising functional and admin teams on design, development and overall ServiceNow best practices. - Collaborating with business, systems, and Technology partners in business analysis meetings to develop business and systems requirements. - Solution and develop requested enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications. - Scripting Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc. - Facilitating and supporting the rollout of new application and enhancements in ServiceNow. - Analyzing system performance issues and determining performance enhancements. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer. - Strong familiarity and working knowledge of ServiceNow Suite of tools (Service Catalog, Service Portal, Reports, Incident and Knowledge Base, etc.). - Demonstrable ability to communicate and listen well with business and technical people, regardless of title, with good self-awareness. - Proven developer independent of the ServiceNow platform, with an emphasis on analytical and problem-solving skills. - Demonstrated competency with IT Service Management, Asset and Configuration Management, ITIL/ITSM, PMP/PRINCE2 practices. - Experience working on project teams that leverage Agile/Scrum. - Experience with system/software engineering lifecycle principles, translating requirements into functional and technical solutions, application implementation and support, enterprise monitoring. - Experience working with large data sets and performing data analysis/modeling to help facilitate and inform management decisions. Requirements - U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to federal contract requirements and the need to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance. Preferred - ServiceNow CAD (Certified Application Developer).
