Job Description

Senior Program Manager

Staritas

Role Description We're hiring a Senior Program Manager to drive execution across engineering and product initiatives, planning, cross-functional coordination, risk management, and delivery reporting. This role also carries responsibility for managing our company's exit from an active Transition Services Agreement (TSA) as part of a recent carve-out; that workstream runs alongside standard program duties and has its own hard deadlines and legal/financial constraints. - Own end-to-end program and project management for engineering and product initiatives: scope, timelines, cross-functional dependencies, and delivery risk. - Run planning and status cadences with engineering, product, and design leads; keep roadmaps realistic and escalate slippage early. - Maintain program-level RAID and drive mitigation, not just tracking. - Report program status to leadership with enough clarity. - Manage the TSA exit workstream to track each in-scope service, owner, exit criteria, and target exit date; coordinate with IT, Finance, HR, Legal, and Procurement to hit exit deadlines. - Monitor TSA activities and flag scope creep, service-level disputes, or the need for contract amendments; work with Legal on exit notices and interpretation questions. - Build and maintain the operating rhythm and templates (status reports, RAID, RACI) used across both the roadmap programs and the TSA workstream. - Partner with engineering and product leadership to establish KPIs and delivery metrics and own ongoing tracking and reporting against them. Qualifications - PMP certification. - 7+ years of program/project management experience delivering engineering or product initiatives in a cross-functional environment. - Experience managing programs with hard external deadlines and contractual or legal constraints (TSA, SOW, vendor exit, compliance deadline, or similar). - Comfortable context-switching between technical roadmap conversations and legal/finance-driven contract execution in the same week. - Strong stakeholder management across functions with competing priorities. Requirements - Experience in Agile/Scrum environments (Scrum Master or equivalent exposure). - Experience standing up or improving a PMO operating rhythm from scratch. - Hands-on Atlassian experience (JIRA, Confluence) — building and administering workflows, automation rules, and dashboards, not just using JIRA as an end user. Benefits - Competitive salary and performance bonus program. - Fully remote work environment. - Comprehensive benefits package including 401k match. - 19 days of PTO per year; 10 holidays per year. - Opportunity to work in a mission-driven organization where your work directly shapes clarity, confidence, and better outcomes across healthcare. - Up to 10% travel, based on business needs. While our roles are 100% remote, we do get together a few times a year for up to one week. Employees are given ample notice and attendance is expected. Work Environment This position operates in a professional work environment and requires the use of standard office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, mouse, webcam, and phone. Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Statement Staritas is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or veteran status. As a federal contractor, Staritas complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding nondiscrimination and affirmative action. We are committed to creating a workplace that is fair, inclusive, and grounded in merit-based decision-making. Accommodation Statement If you need reasonable accommodation to apply for this position, please contact the recruiter. Pay Transparency Statement Staritas posts compensation ranges and benefits for all open roles. The compensation range for this position is $145,000-$165,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Compensation offered will depend on factors including experience, skills, geographic location, and internal equity. Staritas does not retaliate against employees or applicants for discussing compensation. Benefits Statement Staritas offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package designed to support the health, wellbeing, and financial security of our employees. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage; retirement savings plans with company contributions; paid time off and company holidays; paid parental and family leave; and access to employee assistance and wellness resources. Additional benefits include life and disability insurance, professional development opportunities, and flexible work arrangements.
