Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of engineering leadership experience, with deep experience working on complex products in a high growth environment
  • Passion for leading, coaching and building an inspired team through setting vision, unlocking potential, and driving compassionate accountability
  • Business acumen paired with an understanding of how to drive step change results through product innovation
  • Strong decision maker who effectively balances ambiguity, available data, speed, and quality
  • Effective communicator and story-teller. Able to influence cross functional stakeholders and at all levels
  • Operates at multiple altitudes, from developing vision and strategy to driving execution

Role Description This is a full-time remote position in the Office of Data, Research, Evaluation and Measurement, Department of the Chief Program Officer. This virtual opportunity can be performed from any duty station. Pay will be determined based on the duty location of the position. Remote employees will receive the locality rate associated with the location of their remote worksite, typically the employee's place of residence. The Program Analyst (Business Analyst) is responsible for leading analysis, testing and documentation supporting integration of transactional systems with the AmeriCorps Information Model (AIM). This role ensures that business requirements are accurately translated into system functionality, supports system integration initiatives, and strengthens operational consistency through development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and business documentation. The analyst works cross-functionally with program offices, OIT, and external vendors to ensure systems effectively support the priorities and mission of the agency and ODAI. - Analyzes and documents current-state (AS-IS) and future-state (To-Be) business processes. - Identifies process inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for automation or improvement. - Aligns business processes with federal requirements, internal controls, and best practices. - Leads development and execution of test strategies, test plans, and test cases for related applications and platforms. - Conducts functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Coordinates testing activities across offices, ensuring alignment with mission and operational needs. - Identifies, documents, and tracks defects; works with teams to resolve issues. - Validates that system enhancements meet business requirements, policy guidance, and federal regulations. - Supports release management, including go-live readiness, and post implementation validation. - Develops, maintains, and standardizes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for business processes and system usage. - Ensures SOPs reflect current policies, system functionality, and internal controls.
