Dealer Commercial Services Associate – Business Development Officer

• Develop and close new commercial lending opportunities • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients • Represent Santander professionally at industry events • Partner with Credit teams and Senior Business Development Officers for loan proposals • Prepare clear and concise deal briefing memoranda • Maintain an organized and up-to-date database of prospects and activities • Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned clients

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of lending, business development, or commercial banking experience
  • Commercial lending and business development expertise
  • Relationship management and client acquisition skills
  • Strong financial analysis and proficiency with financial calculations
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Role Description The Business Development Leader is responsible for driving growth across complex capital projects by developing and expanding relationships with Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) firms and selected strategic end-user accounts.
