Field Service Technician, Coffee Equipment

The J.M. Smucker Co.

• Lead the equipment service business for corporations in Tampa Bay Area • Obtain expert knowledge from our training teams to learn the ins and outs of coffee machinery and equipment • Provide best-in-class customer service to maximize customer satisfaction and retention • Perform scheduled service on equipment including proactive maintenance, installations, machine removals, asset management, and emergency service requests • Manage equipment inventories including quarterly warehouse inventory checks and ordering parts as needed • Document proper procedures including electronic invoices, customer names and contact information, reported quality issues and other related activities • Drive and maintain a state-of-the-art company vehicle, fully equipped with heated seats, large navigation screen, shelving and so much more to ensure you are comfortable and successful in your career!

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Reside within 30-40 miles of the Tampa Bay Area
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including lifting up to 75 pounds and driving on a frequent basis
  • Ability to work on-call hours at least once a month (on-call duties are covered by a rotational program)
