This role can sit in any of Gilbane's offices or work remotely. Responsibilities - Designs, develops, and maintains Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models that support operational, financial, and strategic decision-making. - Translates business requirements into clear analytical designs, metrics, and visualizations. - Ensures reports are performant, intuitive, and aligned to established data definitions. - Partners with data engineers to leverage curated data sets in Databricks. - Implements and maintains business logic, calculations, and metrics in a consistent and reusable manner. - Applies data quality checks, validation rules, and testing within Databricks and Power BI. - Supports metric definitions, documentation, and lineage to ensure trust and transparency (Atlan experience a plus). - Follows established data governance, security, and access control standards. - Works closely with business partners to understand reporting needs and prioritizes enhancements. - Collaborates with data engineering and business teams to deliver end to end BI solutions. - Provides guidance to business users on report usage and interpretation. - Troubleshoots and resolves data, model, or reporting issues in a timely manner. - Optimizes Power BI models and queries for performance and scalability. - Contributes to BI development standards, documentation, and reusable assets. - Coaches and mentors less experienced team members. - Supports a positive and inclusive work environment. • Define the testing strategy for validating dashboards and indicators • Develop test scenarios covering indicators, filters, dimensions, business rules, access profiles, and dashboard behaviors • Execute validations between legacy reports and migrated dashboards, ensuring consistency of information • Create and maintain comparative queries to identify and analyze discrepancies • Investigate data inconsistencies together with the involved technical teams • Validate filters, drill-down functionality, data access security rules (Row-Level Security), and masking of sensitive information when applicable • Record test results, evidence, discovered discrepancies, and acceptance criteria • Support the homologation and validation phases of deliveries • Track defect fixes, perform regression testing, and support delivery approval • Contribute to documentation of processes, test scenarios, and quality evidence.

• Develop, maintain, and deploy dashboards, reports, and self-service BI solutions. • Partner with business users to translate requirements into KPIs, metrics, and data models. • Design and implement semantic data models to support scalability and extensibility. • Perform data profiling, validation, and exploratory analysis. • Support ad-hoc analysis and data-driven decision-making. • Monitor report usage and performance, optimizing for query speed and usability. • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance practices are embedded. • Contribute to documentation, training, and user enablement.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and publish data from practice management, EHR, billing, finance, and operational source systems. • Develop and optimize SQL-based data models in Snowflake to support Power BI reporting, executive dashboards, recurring analytics, and ad hoc business analysis. • Use dbt or similar transformation frameworks to create tested, version-controlled, and documented data models. • Build data integration processes using APIs, SFTP files, flat files, database extracts, and third-party vendor feeds. • Create automated data quality checks, reconciliation processes, anomaly detection routines, and alerting to identify issues before they affect downstream reporting. • Partner with analytics, finance, RCM, and operations stakeholders to translate reporting needs into reliable data structures and reusable datasets. • Improve data reliability by standardizing definitions, mapping source system fields, documenting lineage, and resolving data inconsistencies across systems. • Tune query performance, manage large datasets efficiently, and troubleshoot pipeline failures or report performance issues. • Support secure data handling practices, access controls, and HIPAA-aligned data governance expectations for healthcare information. • Maintain clear technical documentation, including source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, data dictionaries, and operational runbooks. • Collaborate using Git-based workflows, code review, and deployment practices appropriate for production data environments. • Provide production support for scheduled data jobs, recurring reporting datasets, and critical analytics workflows.
