Senior QA Analyst – BI & Data

• Define the testing strategy for validating dashboards and indicators • Develop test scenarios covering indicators, filters, dimensions, business rules, access profiles, and dashboard behaviors • Execute validations between legacy reports and migrated dashboards, ensuring consistency of information • Create and maintain comparative queries to identify and analyze discrepancies • Investigate data inconsistencies together with the involved technical teams • Validate filters, drill-down functionality, data access security rules (Row-Level Security), and masking of sensitive information when applicable • Record test results, evidence, discovered discrepancies, and acceptance criteria • Support the homologation and validation phases of deliveries • Track defect fixes, perform regression testing, and support delivery approval • Contribute to documentation of processes, test scenarios, and quality evidence.

Job Requirements

  • Experience as a Senior QA Analyst or in similar Software Quality roles
  • Experience defining and executing functional, regression, and acceptance testing strategies
  • Knowledge in data, indicator, and dashboard validation
  • Experience writing and running SQL queries, preferably in BigQuery (GCP)
  • Knowledge of Git for version control
  • Experience in data, BI, or Big Data environments is a plus
  • Analytical ability to investigate inconsistencies and validate business rules
  • Good communication skills and ease working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Role Description Under the direction of the USL Technology & Data Strategy team, the Business Intelligence UWEP supports the department by assisting with maintaining and developing league-wide dashboards. The Participant will assume an integral role in the production of data analytics and distribution of the results.
