• Define the testing strategy for validating dashboards and indicators • Develop test scenarios covering indicators, filters, dimensions, business rules, access profiles, and dashboard behaviors • Execute validations between legacy reports and migrated dashboards, ensuring consistency of information • Create and maintain comparative queries to identify and analyze discrepancies • Investigate data inconsistencies together with the involved technical teams • Validate filters, drill-down functionality, data access security rules (Row-Level Security), and masking of sensitive information when applicable • Record test results, evidence, discovered discrepancies, and acceptance criteria • Support the homologation and validation phases of deliveries • Track defect fixes, perform regression testing, and support delivery approval • Contribute to documentation of processes, test scenarios, and quality evidence.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and publish data from practice management, EHR, billing, finance, and operational source systems. • Develop and optimize SQL-based data models in Snowflake to support Power BI reporting, executive dashboards, recurring analytics, and ad hoc business analysis. • Use dbt or similar transformation frameworks to create tested, version-controlled, and documented data models. • Build data integration processes using APIs, SFTP files, flat files, database extracts, and third-party vendor feeds. • Create automated data quality checks, reconciliation processes, anomaly detection routines, and alerting to identify issues before they affect downstream reporting. • Partner with analytics, finance, RCM, and operations stakeholders to translate reporting needs into reliable data structures and reusable datasets. • Improve data reliability by standardizing definitions, mapping source system fields, documenting lineage, and resolving data inconsistencies across systems. • Tune query performance, manage large datasets efficiently, and troubleshoot pipeline failures or report performance issues. • Support secure data handling practices, access controls, and HIPAA-aligned data governance expectations for healthcare information. • Maintain clear technical documentation, including source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, data dictionaries, and operational runbooks. • Collaborate using Git-based workflows, code review, and deployment practices appropriate for production data environments. • Provide production support for scheduled data jobs, recurring reporting datasets, and critical analytics workflows.

Role Description Under the direction of the USL Technology & Data Strategy team, the Business Intelligence UWEP supports the department by assisting with maintaining and developing league-wide dashboards. The Participant will assume an integral role in the production of data analytics and distribution of the results. Duties and Responsibilities - Assist with the routine collection of data and updating of established Tableau dashboards. - Build Tableau dashboards to track performance in key metrics towards league goals and initiatives. - Identify opportunities to implement procedures for new data collection processes and/or data reporting. - Translate data across key revenue-driving verticals (e.g., ticketing, corporate partnerships, and consumer products) into targeted analyses, providing insights and recommendations to critical organizational stakeholders that lead to actionable business decisions. - Support ad-hoc requests for data; build reports, visualizations, executive dashboards, and presentations. - Act in a quality assurance role to ensure dashboards/reports are functioning correctly and to provide any recommendations for improvements. - Assist other departments and operational areas as requested to provide a well-rounded overview of working in sports. Qualifications - Participants must be working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field and/or training and must certify that they are able to receive college course credit from an accredited college or university for their participation. - Solid computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook are a must. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. - Positive attitude and strong work ethic are a must. Must have a “team-first” mentality with an eagerness to learn. - Should be extremely organized and detail oriented, with a focus on quality and consistency. - While completing the USL Work Experience Program remotely, participants must have access to a computer or laptop with reliable internet connection. - Familiarity of Tableau, or another data visualization software. - Familiarity of SQL, or other programming languages.
