HR Generalist

Role Description The HR Generalist will support various areas of our Human Resources department, helping to carry out day-to-day HR functions including: - Talent acquisition - Onboarding - Teammate relations - HR systems - Training support You will work under the guidance of the Vice President of Human Resources and Senior HR Generalist to help implement HR policies and practices that align with CCI’s goals. You will collaborate closely with the HR team to support our Teammate experience and CCI’s culture, guided by our CREDO. Responsibilities - MANAGER SUPPORT: Assist managers with day-to-day questions on HR policies/procedures, escalating complex matters as needed. - RECRUITING: Support hiring managers in recruitment efforts, including posting jobs and coordinating assessments. - ONBOARDING: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires. - SYSTEMS: Use HRIS System to enter and update employee data and run routine reports. - PROJECT SUPPORT: Assist with department projects and initiatives as assigned. - TEAMMATE ENGAGEMENT: Plan and support programs aimed at teammate morale and satisfaction. - ANALYSIS & REPORTING: Compile HR metrics and maintain accurate employee records. - COMPLIANCE: Ensure day-to-day practices align with company policy and labor law requirements. - PAYROLL & BENEFITS: Assist with routine Payroll & Benefits administration tasks. - TRAINING: Help coordinate and assist in delivering training sessions on HR topics. - All Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Experience: 1–3 years of Human Resources experience preferred; recent HR education or internship experience also considered. - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field a plus. - Certification: HR certification (aPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus. - Language: Bilingual Spanish a plus. Requirements - TECHNOLOGY: Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Applications; willingness to learn HRIS/Payroll systems. - COMMUNICATION: Good interpersonal and communication skills. - WORK ETHIC: Reliable, with a strong sense of ownership over your work. - ACCURACY: Impeccable attention to detail. - FLEXIBILITY: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances. - CURIOSITY: Willingness to ask questions to understand our business. - PROBLEM SOLVING: Sound judgment and discretion. - COLLABORATION: Comfortable working with internal and external resources. - INITIATIVE: Willingness to identify areas for improvement. - ORGANIZATION: Organized approach to workspace management.
