Job Description

Marketing Lead, Events

BTC Inc.

• You will own marketing strategy for BTC Inc's full portfolio of live events - from our flagship Bitcoin Conference (B27 in Nashville, July 2027) to our growing international series including Bitcoin Asia and Bitcoin MENA. • You will report directly to the Senior Director of Marketing and serve as the strategic brain behind how we attract, convert, and retain the right audiences for every event we produce. • You will define the strategy and hand it off with clarity and confidence to project management and content teams who run it across the finish line. • Your impact is measured in how well your strategy translates, not how much you personally produce. • The team is lean and the pace is real, and sometimes that means jumping into execution alongside them. • You will also be the org's resident expert on the live events landscape - researching competitors, tracking activation trends across Bitcoin-native and adjacent industries, and continuously sharpening our understanding of who our audiences are and what actually moves them.

Job Requirements

  • 5-7+ years in event marketing or a closely adjacent field, with real experience owning strategy for large-scale live events - not just running execution
  • You know the difference between a strategy and a plan, and you can write the former clearly enough that someone else owns the latter
  • You're fluent in performance data and use it to make strategic decisions in real time
  • You've done competitive and audience research work before, and you know what makes it genuinely useful
  • You understand how IRL event experiences and digital marketing work together
  • You are a proactive communicator - you surface risk and opportunity early, not after the window has closed
  • You're comfortable in a fully remote environment and don't need an office to stay accountable or connected
  • You have experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM
  • You have experience with Notion or a similar workflow management platform
  • You use AI to work faster and smarter, and you're already building it into your day-to-day
  • You care about Bitcoin

Benefits

  • Unlimited Vacation
  • Company MacBook
  • Health, Dental, and Vision
  • Remote First / Your Schedule
  • 100% Paid Life Insurance and Disability
  • Work alongside a talented, fast-paced team solving complex problems
  • The opportunity to connect and network with the Bitcoin industry and leaders in the space

• You'll own the full lifecycle of poolside's events, which fall into three broad categories, each with its own goals: - Commercial — revenue-generating events designed to create and accelerate pipeline. - Activation events — events built to grow mindshare, model usage, and token consumption. - Corporate events — All the other moments where poolside needs to show up with precision and polish. • Own the entire show. From budget to booth design, swag to A/V, on-site ops to run-of-show, you'll be the person who turns a blank slate into an event people remember. • Be the reason it runs flawlessly. Every traveling team member looks to you for briefings, schedules, logistics, and prep. • Connect events to real outcomes. Work shoulder-to-shoulder with go-to-market, partnerships, marketing, product, and developer relations to tie every event to targets that matter. • Own the money story. Track spend, reconcile invoices, and model ROI so the business knows exactly what's working and why. • Set the bar for partners. Build the relationships with agencies, production partners, sponsors, and vendors that make great events possible. • Take poolside global. As we scale our presence across regions, you'll be the one building programming that works anywhere in the world. • Make every event better than the last. Own the KPIs for reach, engagement, pipeline, and brand lift.
