This role supports the UPH Compliance Program with data analytics, database management, auditing, and investigations. Hours: - Monday-Friday, standard business hours - on call rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays Location: - Remote - applicants must reside within the UnityPoint Health footprint of Iowa, Illinois, or Wisconsin Responsibilities: - Data Analytics: - Coordinates data collection from multiple sources and systems to audit and monitor compliance with a wide variety of state and federal regulations and applicable policies. - Performs data analysis, summaries, tracking and trending reports for communication with staff, leadership, committees and others. - Acts as a resource in statistical application and capture of data that is valid, reliable, and quantifiable. - Appropriately utilizes random sampling and data collection methodologies. - Audits and analyzes data from the organization’s electronic health record and billing system when appropriate. - At direction of manager, supports the Compliance Program in developing and reporting compliance metrics for system-wide benefit. - Acts as a subject matter expert to educate and counsel management team and others on data interpretation and feedback. - Develops and organizes special outcome studies, analyzes the findings, and reports the results. - Assists in completing special focused audits and analytic requests designated by management. - Aids in researching and answering questions related to subject matter being audited. - Compliance Administration: - Investigates and resolves matters of significance, including coordinating and conducting assessment of internal controls to ensure compliance requirements are met. - Monitors corrective action plans to ensure resolution is working as intended. - Intakes and triages compliance reported concerns and facilitates hand off to compliance leader(s). - Assists in privacy and compliance investigations when requested. - Develops training materials and publications to educate organization stakeholders.
