• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. • Validate core commerce workflows, including product catalog, search, pricing, promotions, shopping cart, checkout, payments, order management, refunds, and customer account management. • Test SAP Commerce Backoffice configurations, including pricing rules, promotion rules, inventory management, order statuses, and product catalog synchronization. • Validate ImpEx data imports and data integrity across environments. • Perform API testing for SAP Commerce OCC REST APIs and supporting microservices, validating request/response contracts, business logic, error handling, and edge-case scenarios. • Develop, maintain, and enhance automated UI test suites using Playwright or Selenium. • Build and maintain API automation using Postman, REST Assured, or Pytest. • Integrate automated tests into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing. • Improve automation framework stability, execution speed, reporting, and overall test coverage. • Design and maintain reusable test data strategies for automation. • Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA with detailed reproduction steps, logs, severity, and supporting evidence. • Collaborate with developers to investigate root causes, validate fixes, and perform regression testing before releases. • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. • Apply QA best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Minimum 3 years of experience testing SAP Commerce (Hybris) applications.
- Strong understanding of SAP Commerce architecture, including: OCC REST APIs Backoffice HAC (Hybris Administration Console) ImpEx Promotion Engine Order Management
- Hands-on experience with UI automation using Playwright or Selenium.
- Experience with API automation using Postman, REST Assured, or Pytest.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Java, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
- Experience working with Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with Git for version control.
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and Xray or similar test management tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills, including the ability to analyze server logs, API responses, and network traffic.
- Experience using log analysis tools such as Splunk or similar platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
