• Design, build, and operate highly scalable, low latency data platforms • Create modern data lakehouse architectures, real time data pipelines, and analytics ready data models that support trading, risk, reporting, and regulatory requirements • Collaborate closely with trading desks, product teams, AI/analytics teams, and architects to deliver reliable, secure, and high performance data solutions

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau • Translate business requirements into scalable data models and reporting solutions • Implement and validate complex business logic within reporting layers • Write and optimize advanced SQL queries for data extraction and transformation • Work with Snowflake (or similar cloud data warehouses) for data sourcing • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect resolution and enhancements • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and QA teams • Maintain and enhance existing BI solutions for performance and usability

• Gather and define detailed business and technical requirements • Design and document data validation and reconciliation rules • Reconcile data across source systems and resolve data issues • Work with SQL for data analysis and governance activities • Document data rules, mappings, and lineage • Support asset/data management processes • Perform unit testing and support UAT handover

• Draft and maintain data governance documentation, including policies, guidelines, and process documentation (initial drafts refined collaboratively). • Build and update data classification schemas and basic data standards. • Support data and AI compliance efforts by documenting requirements and maintaining internal records. • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to understand how data is used and accurately reflect that usage in governance artifacts. • Maintain governance inventories and registries (e.g., tools, data use cases, classifications). • Track open items, identify risks or gaps, and keep stakeholders informed to enable parallel progress.

• Design and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using both batch and streaming approaches. • Develop ingestion workflows from multiple sources such as databases, APIs, and event streams. • Implement ingestion strategies including full load, incremental load, and CDC. • Orchestrate data workflows using Apache Airflow. • Manage data connectors using Airbyte. • Work with Databricks Lakehouse to build and optimize data processing pipelines. • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for analytics and transformation. • Build modular and testable data models using dbt (staging → intermediate → marts). • Maintain data quality, observability, and reliability across the platform. • Work with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, IAM. • Containerize data services using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) when needed. • Document pipelines, data models, and data dictionaries for long-term maintainability.
