Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for our U.S.-based client, a healthcare technology company that helps skilled nursing and assisted living facilities coordinate smoother, connected care transitions, using automated alerts and real-time data to close care gaps and keep patients and care teams aligned throughout the discharge process. In this role, you will support the team with data entry, administrative tasks, and day-to-day operations as the business continues to grow. PLEASE NOTE: - Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8AM – 5PM EST (14:00 PM – 23:00 PM South African time – subject to daylight savings) - Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and support for a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory - Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered - Public Holidays: You will be required to work on all South African public holidays (compensated as per BCEA) - Work Environment: This is a fully remote role Responsibilities: - Perform daily data entry and maintain accurate records (approx. 2 hours per day, varying based on workload) - Assist with setting up facilities and backend systems ahead of launch - Draft emails, create documents, and follow up on outstanding items - Provide general administrative support, including electronic filing and maintaining organized records - Assist with compiling and capturing data for reports as needed - Support scheduling and calendar coordination - Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders and external contacts - Provide light user support as needed (no prior training or experience required) - Complete other ad hoc administrative tasks as required Qualifications - Previous experience in an administrative role preferred - Highly detail-oriented with strong time management skills - Excellent written and verbal English proficiency - Ability to write clean, well-structured customer emails in English, with excellent grammar and spelling - Strong attention to detail, time management and good judgement skills - Basic computer literacy, including MS Office and Outlook (no advanced Excel skills required) - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment - Adaptable and receptive to constructive feedback Company Description ISTA Personnel Solutions South Africa is a dynamic and fast-growing BPO company based in South Africa, specializing in providing top-tier operational support to U.S.-based companies.
