Role Description You are passionate about developing strategic customer partnerships and turning business opportunities into sustainable growth? For our growing sales organization, we are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager (m/w/d) who will take ownership of selected strategic accounts and play a key role in shaping long-term customer success across our European operations. In this position, you will work closely with customers, internal stakeholders and leadership teams to develop business, secure long-term agreements and drive profitable growth in a highly regulated MedTech and pharmaceutical environment. Your Responsibilities - Strategic Account Development - Develop and execute mid- and long-term account strategies for assigned key customers - Drive sustainable revenue and margin growth through structured account planning - Identify and realize cross-selling and upselling opportunities across products, services and sites - Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders - Commercial Leadership - Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions and contract agreements - Manage framework, supply and quality agreements across multiple locations - Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline with clear visibility of opportunities and risks - Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to senior sales leadership - Customer Excellence - Serve as the primary escalation point for strategic customers - Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure excellent customer experience - Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Operations, Project Management, Quality and Supply Chain - Support successful execution of customer projects and business initiatives - Market Presence - Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events and trade fairs - Deliver compelling customer presentations and business reviews - Act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders Qualifications - Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a comparable qualification - Several years of successful B2B sales experience, ideally within: - CDMO - MedTech - Pharmaceutical Packaging - Life Sciences - or another highly regulated industry - Proven experience managing strategic or key accounts - Strong track record in complex contract negotiations and long-term customer development - Experience working with CRM systems and modern sales tools - Business fluent German and English language skills - Willingness to travel extensively across customer locations (approximately 70%) What Sets You Apart - Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills - Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach - Excellent communication and presentation skills - High degree of ownership, accountability and self-motivation - Ability to navigate complex organizations and coordinate cross-functional teams - Confident appearance in international business environments Benefits - Betriebliches Gesundheitsmanagement: Ihre Gesundheit und Ihr Wohlbefinden liegen uns am Herzen.
