SPARETECH's vision is to empower the zero-waste industrial sharing economy by enabling maintenance and procurement teams at manufacturing leaders like Bosch, Porsche, and Nestlé to reduce MRO spend and optimize inventory through accurate part information, internal transparency, and market visibility. To achieve this, we have built, and continue to build, an AI-powered MRO software that connects all players in the spare parts ecosystem, from manufacturers and suppliers to the people working behind the machines. By facilitating the exchange of data, knowledge, and expertise, we create shared visibility that empowers smarter decisions, reduces waste, and drives seamless collaboration. This connected spare parts intelligence unlocks value that extends far beyond software. Backed by Insight Partners, SPARETECH is accelerating its growth with a strong focus on product innovation and team excellence. We take pride in our inclusive and collaborative culture, as well as our energetic and committed team.

You will work closely with customer engineering teams (e.g. SAP, middleware, IT) as well as SPARETECH backend engineers, Product, and Customer Success to ensure smooth data exchange via APIs and webhooks. You will combine backend engineering expertise with customer-facing collaboration to support integration architecture, implementation, and debugging, helping customers navigate complex and often ambiguous system landscapes. - Be a central pillar for successful customer integrations by directly collaborating with (big) enterprise customers and their engineering teams - Own integration topics end-to-end: from architecture discussions and API usage definition to testing, go-live support, and issue resolution - Contribute to SPARETECH’s backend (Java/Kotlin) to improve APIs, webhooks, and integration reliability - Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment across Engineering, Product, and Customer Success - Develop deep expertise in enterprise system integration (SAP, middleware, distributed data sync) - Solve complex integration problems involving multiple systems, unclear ownership, and real-world constraints Qualifications - 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally with JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin, Scala) - Hands-on experience with REST APIs and/or webhooks in distributed systems - Comfortable debugging issues end-to-end using logs, payloads, and system traces - Solid understanding of data synchronization concepts (e.g. polling, event-driven flows, retries, idempotency) - Familiar with SAP data structures (e.g. IDocs such as MATMAS) and ERP/Middleware architectures - Experience working with SAP environments (e.g. ECC, S/4HANA), middleware, or enterprise IT landscapes - Understand how backend systems interact and can navigate system architectures independently - Collaborative approach when working with engineers, product teams, and external stakeholders - Confident communicating technical topics clearly in customer-facing situations - Take ownership of your tasks, deliver reliably, and proactively seek support when needed Requirements - Exposure to integration platforms or middleware (e.g. CPI, PI/PO, or similar) - Experience integrating with ERPs other than SAP - Experience with observability tooling, CI/CD, and cloud environments - Prior experience in customer-facing engineering roles or technical support in B2B SaaS Benefits - A remote-yes company, where you can decide every day whether you work from home, at our Stuttgart or Munich office, or at any Design Office in Germany - A permanent employment contract, 30 days of vacation, and the opportunity to participate in the company's success through our VSOP program - Modern hardware and the frame for a height-adjustable desk - An annual training budget of 1000,00 EURO for your professional development - A subsidized job bike to escape city traffic and a Wellpass gym membership to stay active - A dynamic start-up atmosphere and an international team in which new ideas, creative approaches, and cooperation at eye level are valued - Corporate Benefits, including discounts on fashion, travel, and much more from various companies
