Commercial Operations Specialist

AIRS Medical

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of high-volume commercial agreements (including NDAs, MSAs, Order Forms, and amendments). • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract intake, routing complex legal edits to Legal counsel and financial discrepancies to Finance operations. • Maintain meticulous record-keeping within our CRM system, ensuring all metadata fields (e.g., expiration dates, auto-renewal clauses, financial obligations, etc.) are highly accurate. • Act as the internal administrator for our CRM platform, by maintaining and updating customer accounts, opportunities, and contract data within Salesforce to ensure a "single source of truth". • Identify bottlenecks in the current intake-to-execution pipeline and implement system enhancements or automated workflows to reduce contract turnaround time. • Build and maintain dashboards tracking operational metrics such as contract cycle times, bottleneck stages, and contract volumes by territory/regions. • Generate monthly and quarterly reports highlighting upcoming contract expirations, renewals, opt-out deadlines, and price-escalation triggers.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in contract operations, legal operations, procurement, or commercial deal desk operations (preferably in a high-growth tech or SaaS environment).
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Core Competencies
  • Strong foundational understanding of standard commercial legal terms (e.g., indemnification, limitation of liability, termination for convenience, data privacy).
  • Exceptional proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; ability to analyze contract data, construct pivot tables, and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of managing competing priorities from aggressive Sales teams, meticulous Legal teams, and risk-averse Finance teams.
  • Highly organized with the ability to independently steer process-improvement projects from concept to completion.
