Oil & Gas Territory Sales Manager
NETZSCH Group
• Technically and commercially support distributors/OEM/Partners in the region • Sell NETZSCH pumps, grinders, spare parts and service to meet or exceed region sales revenue plan • Manage all project activity in the assigned region, including product offerings, and establish sales strategy • Manage forecasting activities on a monthly/weekly basis • Assist with the annual forecast plan development • Review quotes for accuracy prior to sending to customer • Regularly follow up on all quotes and leads • Develop and implement strategies for displacement of competition at new and existing targeted accounts • Provide required training to sales partner’s staff on products, applications, competition, commercial issues and operational procedures • Support sales partners with customer training • Make joint sales calls with sales partners or service personnel to build relationships with key customers in the region • Represent NETZSCH at trade shows and industry events • Provide the Company with market trends, sales growth strategies, pricing intelligence/strategies and other competitive intelligence
Job Requirements
- Prior outside sales experience in the Oil & Gas market, selling industrial equipment
- Experience with positive displacement pumps, progressing cavity pumps, multiphase pumps or similar equipment
- Solid negotiation skills
- Previous experience managing a sales territory
- Developing new business, growing existing accounts and calling on upstream, midstream and/or downstream customers
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time
- Valid driver’s license and current passport
- Ability to travel up to 60% as required to achieve sales goals
