• Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate settlements while applying technical knowledge and skills to effect fair and prompt resolution of cases. • Adjust reserves and provide recommendations to ensure reserving activities are consistent with corporate policies. • Effective communication of reserve and reinsurance notices and reports. • Communicate promptly and professionally with all parties when answering questions and gathering claim information. • Adhere to company service standards and claims handling guidelines. • Effectively manage and control litigation and claim expenses (budgets, experts, and claim strategies). • Confer and direct legal counsel on claims requiring litigation, attend mediations, arbitrations and/or trials when necessary. • ISO claim input and reporting. • Resolve claims within designated authority level. • Maintain claim files with professional notes, claim summary, detailed analysis, and specific action plan with target dates. • Perform other duties as assigned by management and mentor less experienced staff.

• Drive premium volume growth by identifying and executing strategic sales opportunities within the assigned territory. • Support the Regional Sales Manager in implementing and refining sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets. • Identify new business opportunities while maintaining strong retention strategies for existing accounts. • Deliver comprehensive product training to agents, brokers, and distribution partners to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness. • Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, ensuring alignment with company sales initiatives and market trends. • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to improve partner engagement and sales performance. • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to provide the Regional Sales Manager with strategic insights. • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, and key stakeholders, fostering long-term partnerships. • Act as a liaison between the field and internal teams, sharing feedback to improve product offerings and customer experience. • Maintain underwriting profitability by ensuring sales align with company guidelines and risk assessment protocols. • Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with state regulations and company policies. • Track and analyze sales data and performance metrics, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager regularly.

• Responsible for desk adjusting of first-party property claims • Analyze coverage, investigate causes of loss, scope damages, review estimates • Assist in management and training of team members • Implement virtual claim technology • Communicate professionally while answering questions and gathering claims information • Review estimates and make necessary changes and adjustments • Maintain claim files with professional notes and summaries • Ensure claim disposition meets good faith handling guidelines • Assist in the training and mentoring of team members

• Contribute to development and execution of Claims strategic and tactical initiatives • Lead continuous improvement efforts with a focus on leveraging existing technology and identifying new capabilities to support Claims results • Represent claims with internal and external stakeholders as needed • Facilitate and support the Quality Assurance process across Property, Casualty, and Auto Claims • Champion and strengthen Kingstone’s Core Values in words and actions • Demonstrate a passion for delivering outstanding service to Kingstone customers through claims excellence, continuous improvement, and service • Create and promote an engaging and positive work environment where all employees feel empowered, accountable, and valued • Foster a culture of teamwork and accountability within Claims and across Kingstone Insurance • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Claims technology capabilities including Snapsheet Claims platform • Be responsible for all aspects of talent management within their area of responsibility including selection/hiring, retention, and performance management • Adhere to and promote company policies on reserving, compliance, cybersecurity, and other business critical procedures • Lead Claims SOX and State Compliance programs and procedures, works collaboratively with Internal Audit • Leverage data to understand trends, solve problems, and build effective plans for continuous improvement

• Support management in the development and execution of a BI and reporting strategy aligned with organizational goals to drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. • Partner with departments such as Claims, Underwriting/Operations, and Product Management to identify, assess, and prioritize business intelligence needs. • Design, develop, and deliver management dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide actionable business insights. • Ensure all reports and dashboards support business users' decision-making process. • Work alongside other analytical teams to build and maintain reliable analytical datasets that support broader business goals. • Drive enhancements in reporting processes and data quality to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights for decision-making. • Perform quarterly and annual regulatory statistical reporting to ensure compliance and accuracy.
