Vendor Analyst

• Coordinate and schedule product demos and discovery calls with software vendors • Attend all demos, taking detailed and structured notes capturing key functionality, pricing, and differentiators • Produce written breakdowns comparing vendor platforms against current tools — including clear strengths/weaknesses analysis with direct quotes from demos • Manage ongoing vendor communication and follow-up to gather additional information or clarifications post-demo • Maintain a centralised tracker of all tools evaluated, status, and recommendation outcomes • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements before vendor evaluations • Flag discrepancies, red flags, or gaps in vendor offerings and escalate to relevant decision-makers

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in a software procurement, vendor evaluation, or technology research role
  • Exceptional attention to detail — ability to capture and organise large volumes of information accurately
  • Strong written English — structured, professional, and precise
  • Experience producing comparative analyses or vendor assessments in a business context
  • Comfortable managing multiple vendor relationships and evaluation timelines simultaneously
  • Must have prior remote work experience, be fluent with remote collaboration tools and platforms (such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar), and have ideally worked with US or UK-based companies. Applications without this experience will not be considered.
  • Experience evaluating SaaS platforms, CRMs, ERPs, or operational software
  • Familiarity with procurement processes or vendor management frameworks
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, or tech-forward business environment
  • Background in operations, project management, or business analysis.

The Senior HRIS Analyst ensures adherence to project schedules, maintains systems orientation and works effectively and independently to achieve priorities.
