• Execute the VA Enterprise Risk Analysis process using a custom ERA tool to identify key cyber security risk factors in network connected medical devices and Special Purpose Systems • Summarize, evaluate, and report risk factors using quantitative and qualitative scores for awareness of residual cyber risk • Acquire, review and leverage system documentation and data gathered through questionnaires and interviews • Document critical security posture elements in a common reporting format • Perform annual reviews to support effective continuous monitoring • Collaborate with Federal and contractor team mates for best outcomes in the ERA process

Job Requirements

  • Experience with Cybersecurity, risk management, or risk assessment for complex systems
  • Experience with NIST SP 800-53 and NIST SP 800-30
  • Experience with documenting and depicting network topology and network protocols
  • Ability to engage directly with clients, and third parties to facilitate enterprise risk analysis

Role Description This position is National Remote. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in Minneapolis, Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office for a minimum of four (4) days per week. The Model Risk Analyst will be responsible for executing on model governance and model validations in alignment with the Bank’s Model Risk Management (“MRM”) governance framework. The Model Risk Analyst will work with model owners, other MRM analysts, and management to ensure model documentation and risk management processes are implemented appropriately to meet business needs/regulatory obligations and ensure appropriate governance processes are followed and documented in all phases of the model lifecycle: model development, use, calibration/validation, and decommissioning. Responsibilities will also include: - Stress testing, back testing, replication testing and effective challenge of the Bank’s models during internal validations, including but not limited to fixed income, fraud, financial forecasting, capital adequacy, liquidity, credit underwriting and credit loss models.
