Role Description We are currently looking for a Senior Dealer Operations Manager- Infiniti to join our team in Denver, Colorado. A Day in the Life: - Supports assigned dealerships’ sales operations to achieve all districts’ new vehicle wholesale and retail sales objectives, including commercial. - Promotes and supports all customer service and sales-enhancing programs such as CPO and rental programs. - Assesses sales operations through routine contact and site visits. - Identifies areas of improvement and motivates dealership sales management to make improvements and take corrective actions to drive sales. - Helps identify best-in-class dealerships’ practices and recommends incorporation into programs and policies. - Works with the Fixed Operations Manager counterpart to synergize operations. - Provides logistical support relating to market representation changes and issues affecting assigned dealerships as directed by AGM. - Cooperates with other districts to maximize national sales efforts. Districts may consist of 8 to 19 dealerships, depending on complexity and geographic factors. Job Functions - Drive wholesale and retail sales performance through dealership consulting, inventory optimization, incentive promotion, and ROI-focused recommendations. - Conduct regular dealership visits to assess operations, sales effectiveness, and overall business performance. - Review financial statements, sales reports, inventory, and cash flow to improve profitability and operational health. - Evaluate and recommend marketing and advertising strategies to increase sales and market share. - Analyze market conditions, registration data, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities. - Educate dealership personnel on incentive programs, sales initiatives, and compliance requirements. - Promote commercial, fleet, EV, and specialty vehicle sales through training, coaching, and market development. - Monitor vehicle inventory and ordering patterns, recommending adjustments to improve vehicle mix and turnover. - Collaborate with regional teams to optimize vehicle allocation and address aged inventory challenges. - Assess customer experience, sales processes, and customer satisfaction metrics; implement improvement plans and share best practices. - Support staff development through training, coaching, certification programs, and performance improvement initiatives. - Partner with dealership leadership to address workforce challenges, turnover, and organizational effectiveness. - Support dealership participation in auto shows, sales events, and brand promotion activities. - Assist with market representation initiatives, dealership performance management, and policy compliance. - Support communications regarding dealer standards, operational performance, and dealership standing. - Assist with dealership openings, relocations, and closures, including operational and logistical support. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required. - A minimum of 6 years of progressive Marketing and Sales experience for the senior level, including a minimum of 3 years of analytical experience in various specialties of the automotive industry. - Prior work may be a combination within a dealership, region, headquarters, or manufacturing facility, and may be at the Analyst or Regional Manager level or a similar type of position. - At least 2 or more years of experience within a previous dealer contact support role. - Previous experience supervising others and previous experience in a sales capacity are desirable. Requirements - Working knowledge of word processors, spreadsheets, other PC applications, or mainframe applications to produce non-standard, creative products. - Ability to prioritize own schedules and organize workload effectively with minimal daily supervision. - Ability to function effectively and remain productive in a virtual office environment. - Ability to focus on the best interests of the dealership and Nissan. - Dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. - Attentive to others' opinions and perspectives. - Ability to influence the actions of others by building credibility through dealership knowledge, effective recommendations, clear communications, honesty, and demonstrated follow-up on promises. - Result-driven even in the face of resistance or setbacks. - Ability to present ideas and analysis in an effective manner. - Ability to understand the complexities of situations and solicit assistance from others as needed.
