Role Description HR Path is seeking a highly detail-oriented Tax Compliance Specialist to support federal, state, and local tax compliance activities. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on tax filings, tax remittances, agency registrations, reconciliations, and resolution of tax notices. The ideal candidate will have strong experience preparing and filing tax returns, remitting taxes to agencies, researching and resolving tax issues, maintaining tax accounts, and working directly within state and local tax portals. This role is not a management position and does not include payroll processing responsibilities. We are seeking a tax professional who is comfortable performing day-to-day compliance activities and ensuring filings are completed accurately and on time. Candidates local to Atlanta who can work in the office occasionally are preferred, but remote candidates will also be considered.
