• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses. • Ensure compliance with all tax laws, regulations, and deadlines. • Conduct tax research to identify potential tax savings and optimize tax strategies. • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. • Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities as needed. • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance. • Provide guidance and support to internal teams on tax-related matters.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax preparation and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tax preparation software (e.g., QuickBooks, TurboTax).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
