Role Description The Transmission Planning Power Systems Studies Engineer-in-Training conducts a wide range of power systems modelling and analysis, including: - Power flow - Short circuit - Post-transient analysis - Transient stability studies for system impact studies - Load and generation interconnections - NERC compliance studies The applicant shall have experience with: - PSSE - Python - Experience with PSLF and/or ASPEN would be considered an asset An understanding of the analysis required to carry out these studies in compliance with applicable industry standards is necessary. This position can be located out of any of Stantec's North American offices (Winnipeg, Calgary, Markham, and Mississauga are preferred) and is also open to remote options within North America.
