Role Description Capgemini Government Solutions is seeking a Senior Salesforce Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions supporting critical federal missions. As a trusted technical leader, you will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, delivery teams, and executive leadership to design secure, scalable, and innovative Salesforce-based solutions that drive mission outcomes across the federal government. Job Responsibilities - Work on high-visibility federal transformation initiatives - Influence enterprise architecture strategy and solution direction - Collaborate with talented architects, engineers, and business leaders - Contribute to innovation, thought leadership, and solution development - Lead architecture and technical design for complex Salesforce implementations and modernization initiatives - Define enterprise solution architectures across Salesforce platforms and integrated technologies - Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices - Design secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions that align with federal requirements - Lead architecture reviews and provide technical oversight throughout the software development lifecycle - Develop integration strategies across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise systems - Partner with business stakeholders to translate mission and business requirements into technical solutions - Mentor development teams and emerging architects - Support proposal efforts, solution development, innovation initiatives, and technology strategy discussions - Ensure compliance with federal security, privacy, and governance requirements Qualifications - U.S. Citizenship is required. - Eligible to acquire and maintain Government Security Clearance. - Associate degree or equivalent experience. - 12+ years of experience designing and implementing Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS solutions - 5+ years leading architecture and development of complex enterprise applications - Demonstrated expertise in: - Enterprise architecture - System integrations - Platform security - Scalability and performance - Application lifecycle management - Platform governance - Salesforce Certified Application Architect (required) - Salesforce Certified System Architect (required) - Must reside and work within the United States - Ability to be remote outside of the Washington DC area, must be able to work during EST business hours - Must be able to travel up to 10% travel may be required, including occasional meetings in the Washington, DC metro area Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government agencies - Experience leading large-scale Salesforce modernization programs - Knowledge of federal security frameworks and compliance requirements - Experience with DevSecOps, API-led integrations, and cloud-native architectures - Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or pursuit of CTA certification - Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, or Government Cloud implementations - Preference for local hybrid ability in the Washington DC metro area Benefits - Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off - Medical/dental/vision insurance - 401(k) - Other benefits to eligible employees

• Build and maintain custom objects, fields, validation rules, and record types for the assigned capability area • Develop Flow-based automation: record-triggered flows, screen flows, subflows, before/after save contexts, and invocable actions supporting the assigned feature area • Build Lightning Web Components (LWC) for user-facing views, dashboards, and interactive features in the assigned capability area • Participate in code reviews, author unit test cases, and support QA/Test engineers • Participate in spring planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and user engagement sessions • Write clean, documented code in relevant languages and frameworks • Follow secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices • Contribute to technical documentation

• Configure Salesforce solutions using declarative platform capabilities, including Flows, Validation Rules, Dynamic Forms, Lightning App Builder, Security, Approval Processes, and Object Model configuration. • Develop custom functionality where required using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce APIs. • Build and support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems such as ERP platforms, middleware, marketing solutions, and external applications. • Collaborate closely with consultants and architects to translate functional requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.

• Configure Salesforce solutions using declarative platform capabilities, including Flows, Validation Rules, Dynamic Forms, Lightning App Builder, Security, Approval Processes, and Object Model configuration. • Develop custom functionality where required using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce APIs, while following a low-code, configuration-first approach. • Build and support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems such as ERP platforms, middleware, marketing solutions, and external applications. • Collaborate closely with consultants and architects to translate functional requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions while supporting testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities. • Contribute to solution quality through technical documentation, code reviews, best practices, reusable components, and continuous platform improvements.
