Senior Software Engineer
ExactCare
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using C# and modern .NET in Microsoft Azure • Own the full lifecycle of Azure-based API development, including design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support • Architect solutions using Azure services to ensure scalability, security, and high availability • Implement and maintain API security using Azure AD, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and front-end teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Lead technical design reviews and contribute to cloud and application architecture decisions • Monitor and optimize application performance, reliability, and cost in Azure • Review code, enforce engineering standards, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in cloud-hosted environments • Improve CI/CD pipelines and development workflows using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or 4+ years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong expertise in C# and modern .NET (.NET 6/7/8)
- Extensive experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, such as: Azure App Service, Azure Functions, or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL Database or SQL Server, Azure Storage, Key Vault, and Application Insights
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and design patterns
- Experience with authentication and authorization in Azure environments
- Strong experience with automated testing (unit, integration, and API tests)
