As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting month-end and quarterly close processes, preparing financial statements, and delivering meaningful analysis that helps guide business decisions. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. - Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports - Reconcile, analyze, and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close - Prepare journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles - Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits - Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation - Analyze and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and statements of financial position - Assist with or lead the month end quarterly end close process for assigned businesses or groups - Performs work in a self-directed manner and works with less structured, more complex issues Qualifications - 3+ years of professional accounting and/or finance experience in a corporate environment - Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statements - Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel (Pivot tables) Requirements - Healthcare experience - A/R and invoice processing experience - Experience using MS Access - Experience using PeopleSoft Financials Benefits - Comprehensive benefits package - Incentive and recognition programs - Equity stock purchase - 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements) Application Deadline This will be posted for a minimum of 2 business days or until a sufficient candidate pool has been collected.
