This role is built for a strategic and proactive SEO professional who excels at identifying opportunities to connect businesses with Indeed's hiring solutions through organic search. You'll focus on improving the organic visibility of transactional pages and ensuring our employer-related content meets both user needs and search engine requirements. Working within the largest employer-related content ecosystem on the web, you'll drive initiatives that will directly impact Indeed's ability to help businesses find the talent they need. Qualifications - Requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or a minimum of 8 years with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience. - Large-scale, multinational B2B SEO expertise: Proven track record growing multimillion-dollar revenue and multinational B2B SEO acquisition channels. - Executive communication & cross-functional collaboration: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience delivering executive-level reporting, translating complex technical SEO concepts for non-SEO audiences, and partnering with content teams, engineers, product managers, and UX designers to implement SEO improvements. - Data analysis & performance measurement: Proficiency in analyzing large datasets to identify opportunities, track conversion metrics, and measure the impact of B2B-focused SEO initiatives. - Technical SEO proficiency: Deep understanding of canonicalization, hreflang implementation, JavaScript rendering dependencies, crawl optimization, structured data, and enterprise-scale SEO best practices. - Tools, platforms & project management: Experience with Google Search Console, rank tracking and crawl analysis tools, JIRA, Confluence, Looker, Tableau, and similar analytics and business intelligence platforms. - Localization & AI innovation: Experience with multi-language SEO, translation workflows, and leveraging AI tools and APIs (e.g., ChatGPT, OpenAI API) to automate analysis and workflow execution. Requirements - B2B SEO channel ownership: Own and report on B2B SEO acquisition actuals vs. goals. Own and maintain Indeed’s Employer SEO strategic roadmap. Conduct planning sessions with business partners to align on priorities and resource allocation. Drive sprints to coordinate employer initiatives. - Performance monitoring & diagnostics: Track organic search performance for B2B-related queries worldwide. Investigate ranking changes, traffic shifts, and conversion patterns. Diagnose technical issues affecting crawlability, indexation, and visibility across employer surfaces. - Analysis & opportunity sizing: Analyze B2B performance across markets, devices, and user segments. Identify high-converting pages to prioritize for optimizations. Size opportunities for new initiatives, content enhancements, and technical improvements. - Impact measurement: Establish tracking frameworks for launched optimizations. Conduct pre/post analyses of features, content enhancements, and technical implementations. Report on organic contribution to B2B acquisition and product adoption. - Reporting & documentation: Write and deliver weekly executive-ready updates. Create comprehensive documentation for features and initiatives. Peer review employer-related deliverables and provide strategic guidance to content teams.
