• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to support the growth of the Facility Services business across Europe. • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities with strategic customers in target industries. • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Facilities, Engineering, Maintenance, and EHS leaders. • Collaborate closely with operational and technical teams to ensure solutions align with customer requirements and business objectives. • Drive the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract award. • Coordinate proposal activities with engineering, estimating, operations, and commercial teams. • Support account development strategies and establish long-term customer partnerships. • Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, and customer engagements. • Work closely with marketing teams to ensure sales materials, presentations, and market messaging remain current and effective. • Identify cross-selling opportunities and collaborate with other business units to expand customer relationships. • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within targeted industries. • Deliver against pipeline, revenue, and contract award objectives while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and long-term value creation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or a related commercial role.
- Proven track record of winning and growing strategic customer accounts within technical, industrial, engineering, or facility services environments.
- Experience selling technical services, facility management solutions, maintenance services, engineering support, or related offerings is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of European industrial markets and business environments.
- Ability to build credibility and trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to generate new business and close complex commercial agreements.
- Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused approach.

Role Description The Erosion Control Business Development Manager plays a vital role in the sales organization at SiteOne. This role is responsible for prospecting new accounts and expanding margin dollars within under-penetrated accounts, while owning and developing a defined territory. We are seeking a results-driven individual who serves as a trusted advisor to contractors, engineers, developers, and public regulatory agencies and municipal stakeholders. In this role, you will help customers navigate complex site conditions, regulatory requirements, and constructability challenges by combining strong sales execution with technical credibility across erosion control, geosynthetics, and stormwater solutions.
