• Serves as the engineering lead for the cross-functional teams supporting SunStrong’s Salesforce platform • Leads a team of Salesforce software engineers • Responsible for building and maintaining a high-performing team • Oversees architectural and design decisions across the Salesforce platform • Provides code reviews and mentorship • Facilitates Agile sprint ceremonies • Identifies, implements and promotes opportunities to improve team delivery

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years of software development experience
  • 3+ years experience in a leadership role
  • Deep hands-on experience as engineering leader across enterprise scale Salesforce ecosystem
  • Experience effectively leveraging AI tooling to improve app quality and delivery
  • Deep experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flows, and Salesforce metadata model
  • Strong command of governor limits, bulkification, security model, and performance tuning
  • Proven experience with integration design (REST/SOAP, async processing, error handling, retry patterns)
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, Integration Architect, or Data Cloud credentials.

Role Description As a Salesforce Developer, you will be a key technical contributor responsible for designing, building, and maintaining custom solutions within our Salesforce org. You will partner with Revenue Operations, Customer Success, Finance, and Product teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical implementations — spanning custom Apex development, Flow automation, and integrations across our DMS ecosystem. Your work will directly shape our ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences, support subscription and contract lifecycle management, and drive operational excellence as Lightspeed continues its growth trajectory. This is both a developer and a systems-ownership role: you will not just build features but be accountable for the health, performance, and governance of our Salesforce environment.
