Paid Search Strategist
829 Studios
The Paid Search Strategist is a mid-level role within 829’s Paid Advertising department. In this role, you will drive the strategy and development of digital advertising campaigns for various medium-to-large clients. Strategize, develop, and simultaneously maintain multiple digital advertising campaigns for a portfolio of medium-to-enterprise sized businesses. Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns as they relate to client goals, conversions, and events. Update clients regularly as to the status of their digital initiatives. Prepare client deliverables from project kickoff documents to rolling reporting. Advise clients on how to best accomplish their business goals through digital advertising. Serve as a technical resource to other departments, committees, and your peers.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years managing paid advertising programs.
- Thorough understanding of various paid advertising tool sets such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Docs.
- Deep understanding of analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Hubspot Analytics, or similar.
- Understanding of landing page best practices and optimization techniques.
- Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Monday.com.
- Experience with pixeling and conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager or other means.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Google Data Studio, NinjaCat, TapClicks, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience juggling multiple projects and paid advertising campaigns simultaneously.
- Familiarity with WordPress or a similar CMS.
- Bing Ads certification(s).
- Programmatic experience.
- Experience training and mentoring more junior team members.
