Role Description MDpanel is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance team. This role is responsible for supporting the organization's accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and delivering timely financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial analysis, account reconciliations, audit support, and continuous process improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Controller, this individual will collaborate across departments to support financial workflows, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and contribute to the successful integration of newly acquired entities in a dynamic, private equity-backed environment. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, systems-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced setting. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience. - Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting. - Hands-on experience with NetSuite is required. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. - Effective written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Requirements - CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA designation (nice to have). - Experience within healthcare, medical-legal, or professional services organizations (nice to have). - Experience supporting process improvement initiatives and system implementations (nice to have). - Experience integrating newly acquired entities within a private equity-backed environment (nice to have). - Familiarity with multi-entity accounting and financial consolidation processes (nice to have).
