Lead Specialist, Operational EHS – Services and Projects

GE Vernova Inc

• Providing day-to-day EHS support for site activities • Ensuring that EHS Procedures are applied during Site activities • Defining, deploying and managing EHS standard, program & tools • Manage/Lead Consortium projects and ensure EHS/legal requirements are fulfilled • Ensuring EHS training is performed for employees or contractors • Identifying Client/Contractor procedures used during Site activities • Proposing actions to minimize gaps in coordination with the Region EHS Manager • Scheduling, recording, and securing Safety Documentation • Monitoring EHS Cost of the project • Carrying out continuous inspections of the site areas • Assisting the Site Manager in ensuring compliance with the Project Specific EHS Plan • Supporting compliance with the site disciplinary procedure and zero tolerance policy • Providing support and advice to site personnel • Leading/investigating EHS Events and driving closure of corrective actions

Job Requirements

  • A DOSH Green Book Holder
  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Engineering
  • Further training and qualifications in H&S Management
  • At least 10 years' relevant experience in projects related to construction safety
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Ability to lead programs/projects
