• Lead the mechanical engineering execution of medium to large material handling and conveyor projects • Serve as the primary mechanical engineering technical resource for customers, project teams, vendors, and field personnel • Review project scope, customer specifications, system designs, and contract requirements to ensure successful execution • Conduct system design, 3D model, and constructability reviews while resolving technical and installation issues • Develop and maintain engineering schedules that support project milestones and installation timelines • Manage mechanical engineering deliverables, change orders, material requests, and drawing releases • Coordinate engineering activities with Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Purchasing, Fabrication, and Field Installation • Mentor and support Project Engineers and designers by providing technical guidance and coaching • Review engineering drawings for quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on engineering quality, customer satisfaction, and project execution

• Create civil engineering plans, details, calculations, and documentation for renewable energy and land development projects. • Support site design, grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion control, access roads, and related civil design scope. • Apply civil engineering principles, standards, procedures, and criteria to develop practical and constructible design solutions. • Prepare project documentation, including drawings, reports, technical studies, specifications, and supporting calculations. • Coordinate design work with internal project teams, including civil, structural, electrical, project management, and other disciplines. • Review site constraints, permitting requirements, jurisdictional standards, and project-specific criteria. • Identify design issues, project risks, and opportunities to improve quality, constructability, or efficiency. • Support project execution in alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations. • Perform essential duties, including meeting deliverables and deadlines.

What You Will Achieve In this role, you will: - Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing engineering projects, ensuring alignment with productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. - Act as a liaison between project engineers, planning teams, and line management, facilitating communication and coordination. - Review the status of projects and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare comprehensive status reports. - Assess project issues and develop resolutions, applying skills and discipline knowledge to contribute effectively within the Work Team. - Develop plans for short-term work activities and lead process tech transfer in line with site and company guidance. - Conduct and assist in risk analysis with internal and external sites, and support the introduction of new materials. - Hire, develop, and maintain the technical skill set capability in the team, periodically reviewing work and mentoring colleagues. - Complete facility fit assessments for process transfers and facility design, and develop mass balances and process flow diagrams (PFDs) for new processes. - Manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities of moderate complexity, providing production timings to support the operational schedule and reviewing Supplier Change Notifications (SCN) as required. Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements) - High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience or associate's degree with 6+ years of experience or BA/BS with 2+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience - Proficiency in designing bioprocess equipment - Excellent communication skills - Experience in process development, manufacturing, quality assurance, and quality control - Strong project management skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements) - Relevant experience in Pharmaceutical or Chemical Manufacturing operations - Deep understanding of process automation technology - Experience with tech transfer processes - Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance - Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects - Excellent organizational skills - Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities - Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
