• Act as the primary sourcing contact for assigned projects from initiation through completion. • Coordinate with the Global Commodity Managers (GCM) to support and align strategic sourcing strategies with project procurement strategies to support business goals. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and align sourcing strategies. • Participate in project meetings to report procurement status and resolve sourcing issues. • Lead all Procurement activities on assigned projects. • Lead RFx (RFI, RFQ, RFP) processes and facilitate supplier selection and negotiations. • Manage purchase orders in accordance with project schedules, budgets, and delivery requirements. • Expedite and escalate when required. • Ensure procurement decisions reflect customer-specific standards (e.g., preferred brands, quality levels, documentation requirements) and contractual terms. • Coordinate supplier communication and manage relationships throughout the project lifecycle. • Serve as the point of contact for escalations related to procurement or supplier issues. • Implement risk mitigation plans and maintain continuity of supply. • Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, payment terms, and service levels. • Deliver project cost reductions through executing sourcing processes such as negotiations and Request for Proposals (RFPs) and implementation of sustainable cost controls, including collaboration with Finance to validate the impact of projects and contract negotiations to the general ledger. • Understand the project scope, BOMs (Bill of Materials), schedules, specific customer requirements and impact to the sourcing process during the project lifecycle. • Partner with Legal and Project teams to draft and execute supplier agreements. • Ensure all contracts align with company policy and mitigate risk exposure. • Support the development and enhancement of sourcing processes, tools, and systems. • Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting through ERP or procurement platforms. • Ensure compliance with internal controls, ethics policies, and industry regulations.

• The Global Commodity Manager (GCM) is responsible for the end-to-end strategy, sourcing execution, and supplier management for highly complex, engineered, and high-value commodity categories such as steel structures, conveyors, and other custom-fabricated systems. • Build and maintain multi-year sourcing, cost reduction, capacity, and supplier development strategies. • Influence supplier investment decisions, manufacturing capabilities, and capacity planning to support business growth. • Develop and execute global commodity strategies aligned with business objectives, growth forecasts, and project pipeline demands.

• Assist in the commissioning of automated sortation systems. • Implement site-based controls for new equipment within new or existing customer facilities. • Work under the direct supervision of Sr Controls Engineers ensuring drawings and software are completed, installed, commissioned, validated, and documented as required. • Write and implement PLC code, integrate subsystems, and assist in all on-site commissioning efforts. • Utilize “Human Machine Interface” (HMI) using commercially available products such as Ignition, Aveva Intouch Wonderware, Aveva Edge (Indusoft) or FactoryTalk View to develop interface solutions. • Implement PLC and HMI programs to satisfy current design and customer specifications under the supervision of Sr Controls Engineers. • Review and understand electrical designs. • Support the commissioning of complex automated systems, provide site engineering support, and participate in system acceptance testing.

• The Aftermarket Services Vice President of Projects is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational execution, and financial performance of the Project Management, Estimating, and Installation functions at FORTNA. • This executive role ensures successful delivery of complex automation, warehouse, fulfillment, conveyor, robotics, and integrated systems projects from proposal development through final customer acceptance. • The VP of Projects drives project execution excellence, margin performance, installation productivity, customer satisfaction, risk management, and organizational scalability while partnering closely with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Customer Support teams. • This role provides leadership for project governance, estimating accuracy, field installation performance, resource planning, contract execution, and continuous improvement initiatives across all project delivery activities.

• Providing technical and functional leadership on systems assessment and implementation projects • Supporting the planning, organization, and kick-off portions of projects • Problem solving and management • Gathering, organizing, and analyzing systems-related information • Providing configuration, testing, and training services to Clients on Warehouse Management System (WMS) applications • Leading Client teams in system implementation tasks • Writing and preparing test scripts for all test cycles and scenarios • Ensuring WMS processes are consistent with functional and technical specifications and operational requirements • Understanding Client operational processes and concepts • Articulating communications, both written and oral to Client and Fortna teams with strong presence, creditability, professionalism, and content knowledge • Writing and delivering high quality documentation and analysis • Leading the development of Client deliverables and presentations • Mentoring team members to attain their goals • Demonstrating and promoting teamwork and cooperation • Providing specific technical expertise (e.g., WMS application functionality, WMS Implementation) • Developing and supporting internal business systems and processes • Contributing to Fortna thought leadership efforts such as developing/contributing to white papers, documenting case studies, etc.

• Focus on the development and management of an internal team within the Engineering group • Create an inspiring and collaborative team environment with an open communication culture • Delegate tasks and coach/mentor Associates to successfully deliver engineering projects • Provide leadership and development to Fortna Associates of varying levels of experience • Support promoting and developing the approach and methodologies for the delivery of projects from the initial lead up to the implementation • Direct the design and documentation of electrical controls deliverables of Fortna’s Material Handling Systems

• The PM II manages the coordination and completion of Fortna projects with increasing levels complexity, scope, and budget. • Assures all deliverables are on time, on budget, and within scope. • Works directly with Fortna associates, clients, supplier-partners, and other service providers in connection with project deliverables. • Responsible for developing, delivering, and leading discussions pertaining to reports for both Fortna management and client leadership. • Rely on broad project management experiences and judgment to plan and accomplish goals while planning, leading, and directing the work of others. • Demonstrates a breadth of creativity commensurate with their experience. • The role will have greater autonomy requiring the PM II to function with a higher level of independence.

• Provide controls engineering expertise during the pre-award phase of complex engineering projects. • Ensure scope, schedules, and budgets meet organizational standards and Amazon’s expectations. • Facilitate communication between engineering, sales, and Amazon teams to support project execution. • Prepare risk assessments, identify opportunities, and share Lessons Learned to guide execution. • Create Amazon specification packages, conduct periodic audits, and provide recommendations to maintain project success. • Lead multi-discipline Project Design Reviews and collaborate with the Training team to develop and deliver Amazon specific technical training materials.
