Territory Manager, Structural Heart

Role Description Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of Structural Heart disease. The Territory Manager, Structural Interventions is a field-based position, responsible for ensuring that the assigned territory meets or exceeds sales objectives. - Work with the Regional Director to identify and evaluate market opportunities and sales potential. - Establish and achieve annual sales objectives in the assigned territory. - Coordinate activities with clinical consultants and negotiate contracts with external customers. - Keep the company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity. - Focus on Abbott’s Amplatzer Congenital offering which includes ASD, PDA, VSD, and PFO. What You’ll Work On - Sells products by scheduling sales calls to meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives. - Develops and implements sales strategies by determining relevant factors of existing and potential accounts. - Develops action plans by analyzing quarterly and monthly sales figures and reports. - Identifies key accounts, health care professionals, and business issues affecting product use. - Observes actual procedures in labs and operating rooms to gain insights into physician and lab staff needs. - Establishes pricing packages by working with relevant Abbott Vascular personnel. - Develops relationships with hospital personnel to facilitate future sales. - Strengthens customer relationships by performing sales support activities. - Builds networks of contacts by attending trade shows, educational conferences, and seminars. - Educates external customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products. - Maintains clinical and technical expertise by attending company product training sessions. - Assesses trends in managed care, competitors' strategies, and new product development. - Prepares and submits reports to sales management by analyzing and compiling data. Qualifications - BS/BA or equivalent experience. - 7+ years of related cardiovascular work experience; 5+ years of which include Structural Heart or Electrophysiology specific sales experience. - Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19. Preferred Qualifications - Degree in Life Sciences or Marketing. - Strong sales and clinical orientation, experience with products for use in interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, and electrophysiology. - Familiarity with echocardiology and other indirect imaging. Salary Information The base pay for this position is $86,700.00 – $173,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted. Work Environment - Standard work shift. - Travel: Yes, 50% of the time. - Medical surveillance: Yes. - Significant work activities include continuous sitting and standing for prolonged periods, and driving a personal or company vehicle.
