Field & Infusion Nurse
Cencora
Role Description This role is in support of Cencora’s patient and provider support and pharma commercialization services in Canada marketed through our Innomar Strategies business. - Administer medications (IM, SC and IV as applicable) in home or specialty clinic settings. - Support/monitor administration of IV infusion treatments in the clinic and/or homecare setting. - Monitor post-injection/infusion treatments as well as chart and report on all activities as directed by program protocols and standards of professional nursing documentation. - Provide patient education based on program protocols, individually or in groups. - Report adverse events, serious adverse events, product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies & procedures. - Provide reliable availability based on the agreed upon employment agreement to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and clinics Key Performance Indicators. - Coordinate daily with patients, case managers, physicians, scheduling and other departments to meet established timelines for scheduling appointments, treatments, and communication of information. - Perform administrative duties such as monthly clinic audits, supply ordering and other duties as assigned. - Participate regularly in team web-based meetings/training sessions with the Business Area Manager, RNE and Nurse Champion to maintain and enhance professional practice standards. - Participate in specialized client related trainings as required. - Consult with physicians, pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients regarding education and implementation of product specific programs. - Required to travel within your designated IBU and surrounding IBUs to meet the operational needs. - Follow all nursing and clinic standard operating procedures and Work Instructions. - Follow all Health and Safety standards as per the provincial Health and safety Act. - Complete ongoing and annual education training as per the training matrix within the specified timeframes. - Adhere to professional nursing standards as prescribed by the professional associations, regulatory bodies and the company policies and procedures. - Perform related duties and tasks as required by Innomar. - May be required to be on standby/on call to meet the service needs. - Offer availability for at least four 8-hour shifts per month and need to be available for all day, evening, and Saturday shifts. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in nursing, clinical practice, health sciences, public health, healthcare administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience required. - 4+ years of experience in nursing, clinical services, care coordination, patient support, clinical documentation, or a related field required. - Professional license or registration in nursing in the applicable jurisdiction of practice required. - Certification in clinical services, care coordination, patient safety, or equivalent preferred. - Certification in case management, clinical documentation improvement, healthcare quality, or equivalent preferred.
