Role Description Customer service is being rebuilt from scratch, and we’re building the platform that wins it. Typewise (YC S22) is the AI Agent Platform behind 60+ enterprise customer service teams across Europe and the US. Brands like Unilever and DPD use us to resolve customer requests across email, chat, and social, autonomously, at a fraction of the cost and a multiple of the quality. As Founding Growth Lead, you own one outcome: make Typewise known, trusted, and found by customer service leaders looking for AI automation. - This is not a campaign manager role. - It is not a narrow SEO role. - It is not “run some LinkedIn ads.” You’ll define how Typewise shows up in the market: positioning, messaging, content, organic growth, AI search, founder-led marketing, communities, partnerships, customer proof, and unconventional distribution. You’ll run experiments, but your bigger job is to build the growth system that keeps working. If you’ve ever looked at a company and thought, “The product is strong, but the market doesn’t understand it yet,” this is that opportunity. Your outcomes - Turn Typewise’s product, customers, and founder knowledge into a clear market narrative. - Make Typewise discoverable wherever CS and CX leaders research AI solutions: Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, YouTube, Reddit, LinkedIn, analyst content, newsletters, communities, podcasts, and industry associations. - Build a repeatable organic growth engine that creates qualified pipeline, not vanity traffic. - Create strong customer proof: case studies, comparison pages, use-case content, demos, founder content, and sales-enabling assets. - Run fast experiments across channels, then double down on what produces real commercial signal. - Build the first Growth Playbook: channels, messaging, cadence, metrics, tools, and operating rhythm. - Help decide what the future marketing team should look like. In your first 30 days, you’ll understand our ICP, customer proof, product strengths, and current sales motion. You’ll ship the first visible growth assets or experiments. In your first 90 days, we should see measurable signal: qualified inbound, improved discoverability, stronger sales conversion assets, or a repeatable channel worth scaling. Qualifications - You think like a founder: you care about outcomes, not tasks. - You’ve grown something before: a startup, product, audience, community, content engine, or demand channel. - You understand B2B buyers and can translate complex products into clear, commercially useful messaging. - You can write, position, package, and ship without needing a large team. - You are AI-native and use modern tools to operate faster than a traditional marketing team. - You are comfortable with ambiguity and zero-to-one work. - You can be strategic in the morning and hands-on in the afternoon. Requirements - Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, customer service, CX, AI, or automation. - Experience as a founder, first marketing hire, growth lead, or early GTM operator. - Strong taste in content, positioning, and distribution. - Comfort with light technical tools, analytics, automation, or AI workflows. Benefits - You’ll be the first person to truly own growth and marketing at Typewise. - You’ll work directly with founders and have real influence on company strategy. - Strong product and real enterprise customers already exist; the market just needs to find us. - High autonomy, fast decision cycles, and budget for tools, freelancers, agencies, and experiments. - Remote-first, CET-friendly team with an office in Zurich. - Competitive compensation, equity potential, and a path to a long-term growth leadership role. Ready to move? Don’t just send us a standard CV. Send us something that shows how you think: a growth strategy, a teardown of our current positioning, a campaign you built, a content engine, a product you grew, or a short memo on how you’d make Typewise unavoidable for customer service leaders. Tell us what you’d do in your first 30 days and why.
