• Design, install, operate and optimize the Court's Oracle database resources and solutions, ensuring high availability, integrity, security and performance of institutional data • Install, deploy, administer and maintain the set of tools, software and hardware for the organization's Oracle solutions • Handle incidents, problems, requests and level-3 changes related to the database environment • Perform configurations, changes and optimizations (tuning) to ensure optimal application performance • Keep the environment up to date by applying patches and fixes, following change management guidelines • Provide specialized technical support in data techniques and tools for system maintenance projects • Administer the Oracle environment specifically, maintaining the data object library and ensuring an integrated view of information • Specify logical data security criteria and validate logical and physical models with the client • Configure and manage backup and restore routines, supporting the proposal of data protection policies • Perform continuous analysis of performance and utilization of computing resources • Lead the evaluation of new database infrastructure solutions and prepare technical specifications to support institutional analyses • Prepare and keep technical documentation and best-practice articles up to date.

Role Description The Coordinator, Database Systems Support – Bilingual Spanish (Internal title: Coordinator, Research, Evaluation and Learning) is responsible for supporting the administration and optimization of the case management database system used across the Covenant House federation to collect, manage, and analyze program data. This role plays a critical part in advancing Covenant House International’s commitment to becoming a data-informed Learning Organization that achieves positive outcomes for and with young people experiencing homelessness and human trafficking. In this role, you will report directly to the Manager of Database Administration and Support. You will support CHI and site teams’ efforts to improve their use of the database system, troubleshoot issues, develop standardized data collection practices, and ensure data quality to effectively use data to improve outcomes for youth and contribute to collective impact across the federation. • Drive product design for core analytical database features - conducting user research and competitive analysis, and translating insights into clear, well-scoped PRDs. • Design intuitive, easy-to-use interfaces for core database capabilities, and continuously iterate based on evolving user needs and market trends. • Partner closely with engineering, QA, and other cross-functional teams to drive the full product lifecycle - from development through testing to delivery and launch. • Own product quality throughout execution and shape the roadmap for core database features. • Track user feedback and adoption after launch, driving ongoing optimization of core features. • Manage the full feature lifecycle, ensuring capabilities continue to evolve in line with user and market needs.
