• Supervise daily activities of the accounting team, including task allocation and deadline tracking. • Review work prepared by team members (journal entries, reconciliations, support schedules). • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure consistent quality and development. • Prepare and review journal entries in accordance with established accounting policies. • Review balance sheet account reconciliations and follow up on open items. • Ensure transactions are recorded accurately and timely in the ERP. • Coordinate and execute assigned close activities following the close calendar. • Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and escalates risks or delays early. • Support variance analysis and reporting prepared for management review. • Ensure compliance with defined accounting processes, internal controls, and documentation standards. • Assist with preparing and reviewing deliverables for external audits. • Proactively challenge existing approaches and set higher standards for execution and results. • Identify operational inefficiencies and propose improvements to the Senior Accounting Manager. • Support implementation of approved process or system changes. • Act as the first point of contact for operational questions from AP, AR, and other teams. • Escalate complex accounting issues or judgment-based decisions to the Senior Accounting Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
  • 4–6 years of accounting experience with strong exposure to US GAAP
  • Hands-on experience applying US GAAP in day-to-day accounting operations (journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and close activities)
  • 1+ year of experience supervising or leading junior accounting staff
  • Solid understanding of core US GAAP principles, including accrual accounting, revenue and expense recognition, and balance sheet integrity
  • Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and strong Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute within established accounting policies and close timelines
  • Ability to identify issues and escalate accounting judgment matters appropriately
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

The Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting team is responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, accounting for complex accounting transactions across a variety of accounting topics in accordance with US GAAP, maintaining accounting policies in key accounting areas, all while partnering with teams across the company. As a member of the team, you'll play a vital role in designing and maintaining scalable procedures, policies and internal controls to ensure compliance with US GAAP and other laws/regulations. This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
