Job Description

Assistant Project Manager – Data Center Projects

Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc.

• Assist the Senior Project Manager with administrative and project management functions related to critical environment projects, including enterprise data centers and infrastructure work. • Proactively manage and track project‑related issues on the account. • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of project management tools and systems required for assigned projects. • Assist in developing project scope, schedules, and documentation for assigned efforts. • Document and distribute weekly meeting notes and action items. • Coordinate activities of contractors and subcontractors, including relocation of technical functions as required. • Support minor renovation and infrastructure projects as assigned. • Interact with and support coordination with contractors and subcontractors. • Maintain a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost‑effective manner. • Make independent decisions related to assigned responsibilities and seek guidance on decisions outside defined scope. • Support vendor RFP coordination and maintain accurate and consistent electronic project files. • Support the account team in achieving business development goals, including preparation of information for existing contract expansions or new pursuits. • Maintain client relationships and assist with issue resolution as needed. • Perform other project‑related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a DoD Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to successfully obtain (and maintain) a DoD Secret Clearance.
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination or project management supporting data center or mission‑critical environments.
  • Familiarity with federal government contracting and documentation practices is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word).
